Level Infinite and Hotta Studio have released a new trailer for the next Simulacrum that will be available in the anime-style MMORPG Tower of Fantasy via gacha. This time around, it’s Umi – a physical DPS simulacrum who appears to be clumsy in the execution of her magic tricks, but is highly skilled in the use of her whip named Mobius. Umi will be added to the game on February 23rd, and you can get a glimpse of her in action in the trailer below.
For those who don’t know, Simulacrums are unlockable characters that players can switch to, changing their fighting style, weapons, and abilities. They form the basis of the game’s gacha system. Tower of Fantasy is free-to-play with optional microtransactions and available for PC, iOS, and Android, and a Steam version was recently released. The developers have been consistently updating the game with new content since launch, including the addition of the new simulacrums Annabella and Alyss to the roster.
The game is set on the planet Aida, which was devastated by a cataclysm centuries ago and is now full of ruins and mutated monsters. The players have to survive in this hostile environment while exploring an intriguing story. Tower of Fantasy is currently celebrating its half-year anniversary related to the global release in August 2022, with events and rewards for dedicated players.
