We rarely get a peek into the development stages of games. Developers and publishers tend to keep the early builds of their games under wraps, as they may not be the best representation of the product. However, from time to time, early footage of games leaks out. This appears to be the case with the highly anticipated Horizon Forbidden West multiplayer title.
Early Alpha Footage of Horizon Forbidden West
A 12-minute video of the game’s early alpha footage was shared on the official Horizon subreddit by user BirdonWheels, and then boosted on Twitter by Rebs Gaming. The Reddit post shows a cartoon-style world, with various characters navigating the open-world environment. In the footage, we can also see hostile machines attacking the players, and even some human enemies at the end.

It is important to note that this is early alpha footage and may not indicate the final product. However, it does give us a glimpse of what we can expect from Guerilla Games in the future. Players will likely be able to use various characters to explore and hunt machines in the game. We can only hope that we will see official footage of the game soon.
